Concerns
Catastrophes such as hurricanes, floods, earthquakes etc. are
unique as they typically cause many losses at the same time,
thereby challenging adjusters, consultants, restoration
companies and the insurance industry in general. Most Insurance companies, Catastrophe and Independent
adjusting firms hire temporary adjusters in order to deal with
the overabundance of claims during times of catastrophe. Their
efforts usually have good intentions but unfortunately many of
these adjusters lack the experience, knowledge or skills to
properly measure and adjust the policyholders claims. This
coupled with the fact that caseloads are much higher than
normal, which often leads to delayed, incomplete and inaccurate
loss
adjustments. Unfortunately all these factors contribute to sloppy loss adjustments which are often incomplete,
misunderstood and/or undervalued.
Disaster Management
In the era of lean management many companies require
considerable post-loss assistance in dealing with the additional
workload imposed by the effects of an incident. This is at a
time when the existing management should be concentrating on
business recovery, maintaining contact with customers and
ensuring that business momentum is sustained. Our aim is to
provide a multi-faceted disaster management service that will
deal with all aspects of your building and machinery repair and
replacement leaving the existing management to concentrate on
normal management duties and essential post-loss customer
liaison. In our experience many companies have suffered serious damage
to their business because of their own involvement in
handling a claim rather than directing their attention to managing their business and attending
to customers.
